I'm an anthropology graduate/office chimp, currently based in Brighton, UK. My main creative pursuits are photography and writing, however I have difficulty sticking with what I'm writing. I have that thing that most aspiring writers seem to have where they have a potential story in their head for years and are constantly working on and adding to it but fail to get it down in writing.
I'm purely an amateur photographer - I don't have any training or qualifications, and my approach has always tended to be much more a documentary than a creative one. If an image naturally occurs that strikes me, I'll record it, but I've never really gone in for photomanipulation or portraiture, or arranged/staged photography. I've recently invested in a new camera and am hoping to get more involved in the creative pursuits, so I'm hoping to give other forms of photography more of a fair go.
